plays out
No looting for an hour before the first fight. You spawn armed, you find someone, and the server keeps score.
Spawn with a kit
Pick any kit you've unlocked. Level 1 gets a pistol and bandages. It's enough to start a fight.
Take a kill
Every player you drop pays XP and points. Headshots, long shots and kill streaks pay more. Infected pay a little too.
Level up
XP raises your level. New levels unlock stronger free kits you can pick every time you respawn.
Spend your points
Press B to open the shop or the wardrobe. Die, and you lose what you carried. Your level, points and clothes stay.

Each tier adds a kit to your spawn menu. Kits are free, come back every life, and always include 4 to 5 mags plus loose ammo.
Kit contents and level thresholds get balanced during Season 1. Press B and open the KITS tab in-game to see the current list any time.
The fight stays
in the city
The playable area is a 1 km circle around Nasdara. Fewer places to hide, more people to find, and fights start in minutes.
- A wall of toxic gas marks the edge, and the line is drawn on your map. Step out and you get 10 seconds to come back.
- Light loot, lots of infected. Food, water, medical and ammo spawn in town. Guns come from kits, the shop and other players. The city is full of infected.
- Spawn protection. No damage while you pick your kit and for 10 seconds after. It ends the moment you fire.
Squads of 3
Make a squad from the map screen and invite up to two friends. Your teammates show on your map. Everyone else stays hidden.
No alliances between squads. Teaming past 3 gets you kicked.
The points shop
Press B in-game. Points from kills buy weapons, attachments, armor, helmets, medical and ammo. Some guns also need a minimum level. Armor and helmets are bought again every life.

Your look,
for good
The wardrobe is where your points buy something that lasts. Unlock a piece of clothing once and it's yours, even when a new season resets everyone to level 1.
- Unlock it once. Press B, open WARDROBE and pay for a top, pants, boots, a hat or gloves. Military jackets and pants unlock at higher levels.
- Wear it. Pick one piece per slot for your outfit. The boxes on the left of the menu show what you'll wear.
- Spawn in it. Every time you deploy a kit, your outfit replaces the spawn clothes. Die, respawn, and you're dressed the same.
Clothes are only looks. Plate carriers, helmets and backpacks give an edge, so they stay in the shop and are bought again every life.

- No cheating, no exploitingHacks, macros, duping, glitching through walls or out of the zone. Permanent ban, no appeal.
- No stat farmingAlt accounts, kill trading or letting a friend farm you. Your season stats get wiped, then you get banned.
- Squad cap: 3No alliances or truces between squads to get around it.
- No spawn campingHunting players at the spawn points is not PvP.
- No combat loggingLogging out during or right after a fight counts as an exploit.

FAQ
Do I need the Badlands DLC?
Yes. The server runs the Nasdara map from the Badlands expansion, so you need to own it on Steam to join.
First-person or third-person?
First person only. No third-person camera, no peeking over walls or around corners.
What happens when I die?
You lose what you were carrying. Your level, XP, points and unlocked clothes stay. Respawn, pick any kit you've unlocked and get back in.
How do I earn XP and points?
By killing other players. Headshots, distance and streaks add bonuses. Killing the same player over and over pays less each time, and teammates pay nothing.
Does my progress reset?
At the start of each new season. Everyone goes back to level 1 and the leaderboard starts fresh. Seasons are announced on Discord ahead of time.
How do squads work?
Open the map (M or P). Create a squad, then invite players by their number from the list. Up to 3 players per squad. Teammates see each other on the map.
Can I leave the city?
No. The zone is a 1 km circle around Nasdara, marked by toxic gas and a red line on your map. Step out and you have 10 seconds to come back.
How does the wardrobe work?
Press B and open WARDROBE. Unlock clothes once with points and they're yours for good, across seasons. Choose one piece per slot (top, pants, boots, hat, gloves) and you'll wear that outfit every time you deploy a kit. Armor and helmets aren't in the wardrobe: buy them in the shop each life.
Do infected give anything?
A little: 10 XP and 3 points each, up to 20 per minute. Players are still the real payday.
Is this an official DayZ server?
No. DayZ Mania is an independent community server and is not affiliated with Bohemia Interactive.
How do I report a cheater?
Open a ticket on Discord with the time, location and any clip you have. Admins review every report.
